We have a landing page / mini-site (http://price-guide-solar-panels.co.uk)that is designed to generate sales enquiries for the renewable energy marketplace.
When a customer completes the contact form and presses submit they are directed to a success page to inform them that the form has been sent successfully. This is the page that we would like to add Google Earth together with one or two functions, see below:
1) Below some text we want to display a box showing the Google Earth image using the postcode of the form that has just been completed and submitted.
This should narrow the image down to somewhere near the customers house.
2) We then want the customer to be able to move the cursor over the roof of their house (drop a pin) and press a ‘yes / submit button’. By doing this a second email should be sent to us (the first one being the completed form) with the Google Earth hyperlink pinpointing the customers property.
We would like the process broken down in this way so that if a customer decides not to pinpoint their property on Google Earth we have already received their contact details.
