Require a mathamatics expert to take a set of coordinates and parameters that are to compile from an online drawing program then subscribe a polygon of straight lines and curves and calculate a new polygon offseting points from the original polygon. The amount of offset is to be a variable and the offset would paralell the polygon as an external offset. The math is to be applied to an algorithm in a software program that will draw the offset polygon similiar to a seam allowance on a sewing pattern. The corners of the polygon will vary in that it will be possible to step, corners, straight or a diagonal angular fillet like 45 Degrees or a 90 degree straight corner. I will need to be able to import the code/algorithm into flash actionscript 2.0
