Thanks for taking the time to look at this project!
I would like to take a photograph I took on holiday and turn it into steampunk styled art.
Here is my wish list:
Image needs to be clear cut (remove the wires that hold it up and remove background).
I’d like the colour altered so it has a more ‘antique’ look.
Intend to print on A2 so will probably need to alter image as the lines are not 100% clear (could not get close enough!) May need to apply an effect? Happy to be guided on that by the experts!
Would like the image on a background that looks like a sheet of antique paper burnt around the edges (and maybe a couple additional burnt spots in corners etc)
Would also like to insert an image two red hearts connected by a black chain hanging a bit like boxing gloves do from the hook at the bottom of the image.
Lastly – wording on the bottom right hand corner in old cursive style writing “amongst the chaos – there is love”
I have attached the photo (called steampunk photo base) and an example of a piece of steampunk art with a background that is a good example of the sort of style I’m talking about. I’ve also attached another picture – this one is of a girl in steampunk ‘cartoon’ style which I really like. Not sure it’s possible but if there is effect we can apply that would create this look – or if you are a brilliant artist who can redraw the image to look like this I’d be thrilled.
I recognise I am not the expert so happy to be guided if you think there is a better way. The important things are that it’s steampunk styled and uses the image attached as it holds significant personal value to me.
