I’m looking for a freelance programmer who can handle daily work in a timely, professional manner. I’m looking to pay about $20-30/day ($100-150/week). I primarily work with the following technologies:
*PHP5 (Object-Oriented)
*MySQL
*C# .NET (desktop applications)
Overall, I’m looking for proficiency in the following techniques:
*Web Scraping with PHP and CURL
*Web Scraping with C#
*Very strong with regular expressions
Other things that are CRITICAL:
*The ability to understand english
*Availability 7 days a week via IM.
*The ability to maintain a style consistent with my own coding style.
*The ability to accept payment via paypal
Other notes:
*You don’t HAVE to be good in both C# AND PHP but you have to be good in at least one
*I would prefer a programmer that is relatively new and doesn’t have a lot of reviews.
*Be prepared to share examples of your previous work, preferably with web scrapers.
Assignments:
If you really want the job, please write simple structure that does the following:
* If you can program in PHP, write a PHP5 class and page where I enter an Amazon.com URL and the page displays the ASIN, the product image and the price.
* If you can program in C#, write a C# program with windows forms that does the same thing (I enter a url in a text box, click start, and it outputs the ASIN, Image URL and Price to a txt file)
