Currently have a working Joomla 1.5 site
with JoomSport Component installed.
We would like to keep the component (for features)
but also add new features to it.
It is currently set where team coaches can log-in and add information
such as pic, team players etc..to their team only (set by admin)
What we would like to add
Should turn around and generate:
Completion Percentage, and average yards per attempt.
Then, all of this information should generate a QB passer rating.
Look online for this formula
Rushing: Carries, Yards, TD, Fumbles. The program should generate average yards per carry.
Receiving: Receptions, Yards, TD. The program should generate average yards per reception
The Same for kick returns and punt returns; number, yards, TD and generate average.
Kicking: extra points, extra point attempts, field goals, field goal attempts and the program should generate a percentge for both and total points (1) for XP and (3) for field goals.
All of the statistics should keep a “long” record. Longest pass, longest run, etc. It will matter by the end of the year.
Defense: Tackles, Tackles for loss, Sacks, Forced Fumbles, Fumble Recoveries, Pass Deflections, Interceptions, Yards, TDs and blocks (Field goal & punt blocks).
and a place for two point conversions.
The program should be able to add everything up from week to week and reshuffle to show league leaders. (in members log-in area) It should be able to show team statistics, then also be able to show league statistics.
If New Component needs to be written and we need to trash JoomSport
that is fine.
