Here I present you with my V-Ray material pack of 24 Professional Jewelry Shaders.
In this pack you will find 24 professionaly assembled jewelry shaders made with 100% real word material properties. They are seperated in 3 categories – 12 gemstone shaders, 7 precious metal shaders and 5 pearl shaders.
All 24 materials are sorted by category in a single .mat file that you can load through your material editor in any project inside 3d studio max. No bitmaps were used, everything was crafted with procedural 3dsmax and V-Ray maps.
To use them you will need to have V-Ray 2.0 or newer installed and 3D Studio Max of version 2011 or higher.
Make sure that you set V-Ray as production render before loading my material pack. Just in case, I have also included a Quick Guide document for those who are not familiar with importing materials in 3D Studio Max.
Preview scene and dragon model are not included. Lightning used for preview was simple 3-point HDR studio setup that you can get from any V-Ray studio setups in my portfolio.
