This is a model of a sliding mobile phone. It is modeled using polygon modeling and fully unwrapped.
The base mesh is 25.771 triangles and 412.312 triangles once turbosmooth is applied on the four different parts with 2 iterations. Different parts of the mobile are: front, back, keypad, rear camera panel.
The MAX file format allows you to remove the turbosmooth modifier applied to get the low poly base mesh and change easily the look of the mobile phone.
The FBX and OBJ formats contain the base mesh, you may subdivide it to get smoother results. If you import the OBJ remember to import it as separated objects.
The model have material IDs and smoothing groups set. It’s easy to change colors or shaders on a specific part of the mobile, each shader has a specific name to understand which part it is assigned to.
The Max file contains the full scene with materials, camera and lighting setup using V-Ray. The scene doesn’t use global illumination.
