designer’s own words:
A bookcase you can sit on or a chair where you can store your books, magazines, CDs… ‘Septiembre’ was designed around two key concepts; airyness and simplicity. Molded on a single sheet of Corian®, ‘Septiembre’ benefits of the improved translucency of the new for 2006 Ice White color, giving its curves an almost ethereal feeling when lit. The tipographically inspired floral motive printed by sublimation on its back reflects when viewed against the light as if it were Chinese Shadows on a white screen. ‘Septiembre’ (Spanish for ‘September’) mixes not only a chair and a book case, but also almost poetic detailing with rotund industrial forms.
