Drupal To Rackspace Cloud
Hello,

I have a very very large drupal 5 website that I’m hosting currently on a cluster of load balanced dedicated servers. This is not an optimal setup as it can’t handle large spikes in traffic since the servers cannot be scaled in real time easily.

I’d like to move this site to use Rackspaces’ CloudServers – a hosting option that is similar to Amazon’s EC2 except a better API and some more options:

I need for the ability to easily be able to scale the site. Now, I would say I have a basic understanding of server maintenance and linux, so if I need to do some command line stuff for this to happen with whatever solution you provide, I can do it.

The site also features many posters needing to upload files and pictures. What makes the most sense to enable easy scaling, is for files to be uploaded to a the CloudFiles CDN that I can get as well and use the drupal storage_api module:

Now, the best idea might be to have one production server that scales out to the “outside” servers that can be made easily scalable.

I need someone I can work with one this.

Fix And Put In Include Folder
Go to http://www.lawyerbooster.com/maxie and look at the header and rollover things, and click on things.

You will see that the login doesn’t show, the english button doesnt show drop down, and either does the country.

I need someone to fix the header and put everything in an includes folder so I can edit just one file and it will go across all pages. (your only editing the homepage I will put the includes file in)

If you got to www.lawyerbooster.com/maxsite you will see everything works on that header, make mine look like that.

I will include the images for the english drop down since its not displaying on the other site either.

I will also need the footer in a includes folder as well (includes/footer.php)

Do this good and I got another one for you right after this.

Navigation Fix New 2
Okay, since a lot of “coders” with no feedback were complaining I decided to cancel my other project and write a new one..

I have a website located at: lawyerbooster.com/maxie

You will notice the top of the navigation if you click on like “login” or the stuff on the right nothing happens however if you go to
lawyerbooster.com/maxsite click on login you get that filed, and all that, i need that navigation cut out, and put on the maxie site, if you scoll over opportunity, u get a drop down i need that drop down put on products with different links. I need this done today.

THIS is for ONE page not a million.

I need the top part the buttons, and search and all to be in an includes like

(includes/header.php)

Then I need the navigation to be an a includes to like:
(includes/navigation.php)

that way if I make a change to the navigation it will be displayed on ALL the websites I won’t have to go to page to page adding that one page..

Is this something you can do? I also need to make all the buttons but “video” and “shop” and “enroll” to have a drop down menu like opportunity.

We are looking for Hotels and Hostels Search Engine for our current web site. The idea is visitors can do a search and make a reservation on line. Our main services are Hotel reservation.

We need the following functions:
Customers
Customers are the people who surf the website and book the room.
1. Customers should be able to search through the available Hotels using the Booking engine (i.e. the search module at the home page). The users can search for the room availability using following search criteria:

Arrival Date
Departure Date
No.of Adults
No.of Children
No. of Rooms
Hotels Area
Hotels Post Code

Type property:
Hostels (67)
Guesthouses
Cheap Hotels
Bed and Breakfast
Apartments
Other

2. Customers should be able to book a hotel room after they have chosen the right one. At the time of booking customers should have a choice of making a full payment upon arrival. However they have to provide a valid credit card .and they should be warned the %X (10% or 15%) of the booking needs to be paid to secure the booking.
3. Customers should get a confirmation email with regards to their booking.
4. Customers should be able to cancel a booking if they wish. The cancelation should be done 24 hrs before the arrival date. If they try to cancel after 24 Hrs then the booking engine shouldn’t allow the customer to cancel. Instead it should display a message saying you have exceeded the cancelation period. Please see Cancellation terms & Condition. (we will provide you the exact message and the cancellation period)
5. If the cancellation is success then the customer, the Hotel admin and the web admin should get a confirmation email.
Hotel Admins
Hotel Admins are the administrators of each hotel who has his/her own unique login to our web site so that they can login to the admin page and update the availability of their room.
The hotel admin should be able to do the followings:

Web Admin
Web Admin is the websites Administrator who should be able to view and amend all hotels and customers detail if necessary as follows:
1. View and print all bookings made by the customers to all the hotels.
2. Have the ability to cancel or amend any booking individually.
3. Receive confirmation of all bookings and cancellation email to a designated email.
4. To be able to view and print the total commission received from the hotels.
5. To be able to create new hotel account and should be able to send the new hotel affiliate with their own username and password.
6. To be able to change the Hotel Admin user name and/or password.
7. To be able to cancel / delete one or more affiliate hotel accounts.
8. To be able to change the web page contents such as adds, offers and pictures.
We can give you more detailed version later. But this should give you an overall idea of what we need. Also after the development is completely finished we should own the copyright of the design. We will contact you only if we need any major changes. The website also will be hosted in our server.
