We have a main domain (PHP) that we direct a lot of traffic to using other domains for the purpose of tracking employee performance/affiliates.

For the other domains, we simply forward them to our main site via A-Record.

So when an employee gets someone to go to:

EmployeeA.com

The interested party will click the link, and land on:

EmployeeA.com which is actually MainPage.com

Once the party clicks on anything from EmployeeA.com they will be transferred to MainPage.com

The way this is setup we have no 301-redirects, so none of the landing traffic is being registered with SEO or counted in Alexa.
