The updates to iOS 10 continue to flow out from Apple in a bid to keep the bugs to a minimum and ensure that the newest firmware keeps running at optimal performance. iOS 10.2.1 [ beta ] is the latest update to fix a number of niggling bugs that have affected some users and it can be downloaded now, using one of the three methods detailed below.

Before You Update to iOS 10.2.1 :
Before you go ahead and hit the update button, go through this list to make sure your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch is ready for the new iOS version:
- Make sure that you are running the latest version of iTunes , launch iTunes and click on Help > Check for Updates If a new version is found, you can follow the on-screen instructions to update to it
2. Next, connect your device to your computer and backup the data through iTunes and through iCloud
3. Disable the following features , all can be enabled again after you have updated . Passcode, Touch ID and Find my iPhone or iPad
Download iOS 10.2.1 :
There are three methods to update your device to iOS 10.2.1. If you intend to jailbreak in the future, should a jailbreak become available, use one of the iTunes methods:
Method 1 : OTA [ Over the Air ]
- Open Settings on your device
- Tap General > Software Update
3. Wait for the update to be located and then tap on Update and Install
- Wait for iOS 10.2.1 to be installed
Method 2 : iTunes
- Plug your iOS device into your computer or Mac
- Open iTunes and, if you have more than one device registered, click the device summary for the one connected
- Click Check for Update
- On the popup message, click on Download and Update
- iTunes will now update your device to iOS 10.2.1 and, when completed, your device will reboot to the Hello screen
Method 3 : iTunes with IPSW
- Download the iOS 10.2.1 IPSW that corresponds to your iOS device [ beta links below ]
- Plug your device into your PC or Mac and open iTunes
- Press the ALT [ Mac ] or SHIFT [ Windows ] key on your keyboard and click Restore in iTunes at the same time
4. Find the IPSW you downloaded and click to select it
- Follow the instructions on the screen and click on Install
- iTunes will download iOS 10.2.1 and your device will reboot to the Hello screen hen complete
