Open Source iOS Library Allowing You To Visualize Touches And Gestures When Demonstrating An App

Displaying touches is extremely useful for demonstrating an app, and previously I mentioned a nice library called Touchpose allowing you to very easily visualize touches while using an app.

Here’s an open source library called COSTouchVisualizer from Joe Blau that also allows you to visualize touches, with some extra effects for gestures.

COSTouchVisualizer adds a trail when performing swipe type gestures, expands the touch circle displayed when performing holds and allows you to customize the colors used for the touches and gesture animations.

Here’s an animation from the readme showing COSTouchVisualizer in action:

You can find COSTouchVisualizer on Github here.

A nice library to have handy when demonstrating an app.
