Fare Thee Well- A Pirate’s Tale (Male)

I was asked to write a couple of submissions for an end credit vocal for a well-known film company (which shall remain unnamed) for a successful movie franchise. This was one of the demos. It was not used and I own exclusive rights and am making it available for your needs.

This ballad tells the story of a long-traveled sea-man returning home only to find his wife in the arms of another! He then sets off again and meets a gail that takes him back to shore where’s he’s accused of gaining false favor to plunder the villagers while they sleep. It has drama, irony, humor and a very catchy melody that’s perfect for sea-going or traveling moments in you piece. It’s also extremely fitting for evoking thoughts of happiness and frivolity.

If you’re a film-maker/advertising company that’s tired by the same-old processed and fake string recordings out there, this is for you. In this piece, you have a genuine European orchestra playing beautiful and haunting string lines. The piece was actually recorded for a pop-song I wrote, but I’ve decided to release just the strings for those needing lush, full, moody and beautiful accompaniment. I own all rights to the composition and recording, and it’s mine to make available. One listen, and you’ll never want to go back!
